UnitedHealthcare
INSURANCE PROVIDER

UnitedHealthcare

We are in network for lactation services with UnitedHealthcare for all PPO plans. HMO plans are not accepted. The office bills UnitedHealthcare directly, and eligibility verification is not required prior to scheduling.

If you have UnitedHealthcare and would like to confirm coverage or schedule an appointment, please call our office and our team will assist you.

Cigna
INSURANCE PROVIDER

Cigna

Lactation services covered by Cigna are handled through a third-party billing provider. Eligibility must be verified before scheduling an appointment.

Patients with Cigna insurance must complete eligibility verification through the approved provider prior to their visit.

How Insurance Coverage Works

Insurance coverage applies only to the lactation portion of care. Other services provided during your visit may not be covered by insurance and may be subject to standard office fees.

Coverage decisions are determined by your individual insurance plan. Our team is happy to help answer general questions, but final coverage is determined by your insurer.

OUR APPROACH

HOW WE CARE

Our Care Model

Patients at Tongue Tie Laser Center Atlanta are seen by providers who are dual-certified as IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants) and Occupational Therapists. This means your care is provided by a single clinician with combined expertise, rather than separate appointments with different providers.

Occupational therapy training supports oral motor skills related to feeding, while IBCLC certification focuses on lactation and bottle-feeding support. When clinically appropriate, craniosacral therapy (bodywork) may also be incorporated into care.

This integrated approach does not represent separate visits or separate billing per discipline.
